Dr. Rada Hussein, PhD, FIAHSI, is a globally recognized expert in digital health, biomedical informatics, and health data interoperability. As Principal Investigator at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital Health and Prevention (Austria), she leads international research initiatives focused on AI-enabled digital health, interoperability frameworks, and the European Health Data Space (EHDS).

With more than 30 years of experience in health informatics, Dr. Hussein has led numerous EU and WHO-recognized projects and is a founding Fellow of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics (IAHSI). Her work advances secure health data exchange, AI adoption, digital health governance, and innovation strategies that support next-generation healthcare systems.
